The President of the Assembly, Andrija Mandić, sent his congratulations to the Head of the Islamic Community, Rifat Fejzić, and to the faithful celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
"On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I extend my warmest congratulations to all believers of the Islamic faith on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram, with the sincere wish that this great holiday brings peace, health, happiness and progress to every home.
"This holiday reminds us of the importance of mercy, solidarity and respect for diversity, which are enduring values that we cherish and which represent the basis of harmonious and shared life in Montenegro. Our society, rich in its multiculturalism, must continue to strengthen tolerance and appreciation so that we can together create a better future for generations to come.
"Especially in these challenging times, it is our duty to preserve and strengthen mutual understanding, cooperation and unity, building a community of peace, stability and prosperity," said Mandić.
