Regarding the article "Supervisor claims half a million euros missing: Ivanovic files criminal charges against former NPCG leadership", published on the "Vijesti" portal, the former director of the National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG), Vladimir Martinovic, reacted.
We publish the response in its entirety:
"Given Supervisor Ivanovic's very turbulent past, which includes two dismissals for illegal and unprofessional actions, as well as a physical attack on a former director, for which he was held accountable in court, I believe it is unnecessary to waste time on a person whose credibility speaks for itself.
The historical results of the JPNPCG speak best about my work. The company, which had been operating at a loss for years, has been transformed into an organization with a huge profit - 1,8 million euros more than the year before my arrival. It is unnecessary to talk about the results in the field of combating poaching, with the selfless sacrifice of the supervisors of the Skadar Lake National Park, which is confirmed by the ongoing physical, verbal and media daily attacks on them. In addition, the NPCG received a positive audit report for the first time, which, I am sure, has much more weight than the words of a bully and offender who was obviously taken advantage of in this situation.
I look forward to the epilogue of this case being resolved in court, where the truth will come to light and where those who are trying to manipulate will have to say on whose orders and in whose interests they are doing this unfoundedly.
"There is no doubt that, according to a well-coordinated scheme before the elections, some are resorting to lies and manipulation in order to try to harm me and the party I belong to - all because of the inability to come close to the record results that JPNPCG achieved during my mandate, or even to ensure regular payment of salaries to employees," Martinović said in his response.
