The Sveti Stefan local community has scheduled a symbolic protest in front of the Budva Municipality building for Wednesday from 12 to XNUMX p.m.
As stated by local community council member Blažo Rađenović, the protest is being organized against, as he said, the lack of transparency of the 44th Government in announcing the agreement for the Sveti Stefan hotel city.
"I call on all of you who are able to support the citizens of Sveti Stefan in protecting the Constitution, laws and human rights that are threatened by the announcement of this harmful agreement that the Government of Milojko Spajic plans to implement to the detriment of all citizens and the state of Montenegro. This waste and embezzlement of state resources must be put to an end. The protest is being organized in front of the Budva Municipality because the Sveti Stefan Local Community Council wants the active participation of the executive and legislative authorities of the Budva Municipality in protecting the rights of citizens and public resources, and these are certainly the citizens of Sveti Stefan and the Sveti Stefan Hotel," said Radjenovic.
He added that Sveti Stefan has no price and is not for sale.
"Let's protect it and return it to 100 percent state ownership. Let's terminate the harmful contract and file criminal charges against those who do not protect the state's interests. See you tomorrow at 11.55:XNUMX a.m. on the plateau in front of the Budva Municipality," said Radjenovic.
