Nikšić: The roof of the house was on fire

On Wednesday evening, the roof of a residential building burned down in Rudarska Street in Nikšić, and the quick intervention of firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings.

"We were notified that the roof structure of a ground-floor residential building in Rudarska Street was on fire. Three fire trucks with ten firefighters responded to the scene and found the fire in its blazing stage. The successful operation localized and extinguished the fire in record time, thus preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring residential buildings, as well as major material damage to the residential part of the building," Slavko Tadić, commander of the Protection and Rescue Service, told "Vijesti".
