Residents of Zaton, Pašića Polje, Brzava, as well as truckers and drivers who travel on the main road from Ravna Rijeka to Berane, are outraged by the catastrophic condition of the road, full of potholes that are impossible to avoid.
As "Vijesti" was told by the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, work on that section of the road is being carried out by the Bemax and Štrabag consortium.
The Traffic Administration told "Vijesti" that after reviewing the condition and photographs, they issued an urgent order to repair the potholes towards Berane.
Transporters who transport passengers up to 20 times a day in both directions, towards Ivanje and Berane, told "Vijesti" that roads had been built before, but that it was not necessary to break down cars for years and not at least patch potholes.

One of the carriers Vladimir Šunjevarić He said that the situation has been the worst in recent days, because they had previously worked partially, so there were holes in several sections, while now they have 'lifted' the asphalt along the entire road, so traffic is becoming increasingly difficult.
"Every month we spend huge amounts on repairs," said Šunjevarić, adding that the worst situation is at the school in Zaton and from Pašića Polje to Šćepanica.
Videos of the poor condition of the road, especially in recent days when potholes filled with water due to rain, have flooded social media.
"Vijesti" wrote about this problem in the last days of last year, when the Traffic Directorate promised that the contractor would immediately fix the situation.
"The situation was then improved and as many vehicles as possible were able to drive without any problems. However, work is constantly being carried out and no one is repairing the road, which is full of freshly dug holes that vehicles sink into," said Šunjevarić.
Several locals in Zaton have announced that they will block the main road if the road problem is not resolved.
