The short-term disruption in the delivery of therapy did not affect the health condition of patients at the Special Hospital for Pulmonary Diseases "Dr. Jovan Bulajić" in Brezovik, the Ministry of Health announced.
The government department said that immediately upon learning that there had been a delay in therapy, they requested an explanation from the institution's management.
As they stated, the hospital director, Predrag Pejović, stated in his statement that there was a short logistical delay in the delivery of certain therapies, which lasted a maximum of four days.
"And that such a situation in no case affected the patients' treatment plan or their health condition," the statement said.
The Ministry said that all patients were cared for in accordance with medical protocols and that the most sensitive cases were treated as a priority.
