Trebjesa must be preserved, and its potentials must be valorized for the benefit of citizens, said Jovan Mandić, the Party of European Progress candidate for councilor in Nikšić.

"We are witnessing years of neglect of Trebjesa and the carelessness of the outgoing Nikšić government towards the city's most important natural resource. Despite last year's promises that Trebjesa would get a jogging track, playgrounds and sports fields, and the announcement of an investment of two million euros, we see unkempt vegetation, waste and neglect, and impassability of the path used by athletes, recreationalists and nature lovers," he said.

He says that Trebjesa represents the "lungs of the city".

"This natural wealth is important for the health of all citizens, and is an indispensable part of the lives of athletes, recreationalists and nature lovers. Many world metropolises cannot boast of such a pearl of nature, from the lookout point at the top of which a view of part of the city is offered. If the outgoing government treats Trebjesa in this way, a natural resource that every metropolis would like, it should not be surprising to treat other unused natural potentials such as Budoš, Slano Jezera and Krupac," said Mandić.

The Party of European Progress, as he said, advocates that Trebjesa gets a well-deserved place on the city's tourist map and that it fully provides conditions for enjoyment, recreation and sports to the citizens of Nikšić and visitors to the city.

"It is time to preserve the city's natural resources. It is time for Nikšić," he said.
