The leader of the "We Are All Nikšić" list, Nemanja Vuković, said that the construction of the water supply network in Banjani is one of the key priorities for the next four-year period.
"The construction of the water supply network in Banjani represents the beginning of the revival of this region, with great economic potential. This project will not only improve the living conditions of locals and people who come to retire, but will also create strong prerequisites for the development of farming, livestock farming and rural and ethno-tourism, because Banjani deserve it," said Vuković.
He said, as reported, that a serious and professional approach had been taken.
"We hired a licensed legal entity and created a conceptual design as part of the technical documentation."
Speaking about concrete solutions, Vuković explained the structure of the "future water system".
"The system consists of two segments - the pressure-transport and the transport-distribution part. The first part consists of the source, facilities at the source, break chambers and pumping stations with accompanying equipment, and the pressure pipeline. This part is divided into five sections and overcomes the height difference of 411 meters (source-well Petrovići) to 1.140 meters, i.e. the break chamber at Obljaj," he explained.
The second segment, as he said, is designed to deliver water to consumers in two altitude zones.
"In the upper zone, a reservoir is planned on Obljaj, as a reinforced concrete structure, which will ensure a stable and high-quality water supply for households in two altitude zones."
When it comes to finances, Vuković claims that "real and sustainable support" has been provided.
"We have envisaged financing through the state capital budget, funds from Lake Bileća and with the support of the World Bank," he said.
