They will ask for Spajić's written response to the conclusions of the Assembly of the Royal Capital.

The Assembly of the Royal Capital of Cetinje will request the Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to submit a written response to all Conclusions adopted at the session on January 14, within 10 days, and to make decisions in accordance with them.

This was unanimously adopted at today's extraordinary session dedicated to the dynamics of implementing the conclusions reached in connection with the tragic events, initiated by Mayor Nikola Đurašković.

The Assembly of the Royal Capital also authorizes the President of the local parliament, Milena Vujović, to form a special working body that will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the conclusions reached regarding the tragic events in Cetinje.

The working body will consist of representatives of all political entities represented in the local parliament and representatives of the Royal Capital, the local government announced.

"We remind you that at the session on January 10, the Assembly of the Royal Capital adopted Conclusions that demanded, without delay, the resignation or dismissal of the entire leadership of the security sector, the implementation of an independent international investigation and forensics, a clear determination, detailed listing and submission of reports on (non) taken actions, (non) submitted proposals for legal solutions, by-laws, decisions and measures in the area for which the state security sector is competent in the period from August 12.08.2022, 01.01.2025 to January XNUMX, XNUMX. It was also requested to initiate a procedure for the Cetinje Military District to grow into the Cetinje Security Center through the necessary and immediate strengthening of personnel and technical capacities, positioning of a regional center in the Royal Capital of Cetinje, stationing a base or headquarters of an appropriate special police department, ensuring an adequate number of police officers on the territory of the Royal Capital, introducing neighborhood police officers in the city and establishing a modern video surveillance system," it reads. press release.
