The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) announced today that it has secured funds to pay fees for students in dual education for March 2025.
"For the payment of fees for first and second grade students in dual education, funds in the amount of 2024 euros have been provided for March of the 2025/47.968,49 school year. The amount of the fee for first grade students is 86,10 euros per month, while for second grade students it is 129,15 euros per month," the MoENI statement states.
The government department headed by Anđela Jakšić Stojanović added that in accordance with the Law on Vocational Education, a school can provide vocational education in its entirety or the theoretical part at school, and practical education or part of practical education at the employer.
"If practical education is provided in its entirety (dual form of education), the mutual rights and obligations of the student and the employer are regulated by an individual education contract concluded by the employer and the parent. The student is entitled to compensation for the duration of the individual education contract with the employer. Funds for compensation for the first and second years of education are provided by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, while for the third year, compensation is provided by the employer. Also, the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro has provided 23 compensations for first-grade students," the MoESI statement reads.
