Prime Minister Milojko Spajić congratulated all citizens of the Orthodox and Catholic faiths on the greatest Christian holiday, Easter, which this year is celebrated on April 20th.
"The Bright Day, which is a symbol of new life, teaches us that with sincere and sublime desire and effort, it is possible to overcome limits and inspires us to continue serving the common good, justice and progress. The joy of triumph stands at the end of every achievement we have fought for," Spajić's congratulatory message states, adding:
"By forgiving and respecting human dignity, freedoms and the rich diversity of Montenegrin society, we contribute to the protection of the authenticity and affirmation of the spiritual and cultural tradition of Montenegro."
The Easter greeting states that today the words of the Gospel resonate loudly, whose messages of peace, prosperity, and well-being transcend all spatial and temporal boundaries.
"Gathered around the idea that man's social mission is not based solely on expectations from others and demands from the community, we are personally obligated to be an example of virtue and to enrich our surroundings with good deeds, patience, and kind words," said Spajić.
He added that, preserving the apostolic tradition for centuries, let us respect and protect each other through unity, thus achieving understanding and harmony, necessary for a brighter future for all citizens.
