Visits to patients at the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) will be allowed from tomorrow, after being suspended for more than two months due to the worsening epidemiological situation and the increase in the number of people suffering from influenza and similar diseases, the health institution announced.
Visits to patients undergoing hospital treatment at KCCG have been suspended since February 14th.
The KCCG said that, in line with the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country, visits to patients undergoing hospital treatment are allowed from tomorrow, between 14 and 16 p.m.
"We would like to remind you that visits in all intensive care units have a special, limited time, meaning that only one close family member or guardian, while respecting the protocols of these organizational units, can visit the patient under the supervision of medical staff for a maximum of ten minutes, every day, between 14 and 16 p.m.," the statement says.
It is recalled that visits are not allowed in the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, the Obstetrics Department, as well as the Department for Term Newborns of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics.
The KCCG asked citizens not to visit hospitalized patients if they have symptoms of respiratory infections or acute gastrointestinal infections (vomiting, diarrhea).
"We recommend that visitors wear a protective mask while in the patient's room," the KCCG said.
