The Committee of the Municipality of Tivat for the distribution of funds to non-governmental organizations adopted the Decision on the distribution of funds for NGO projects for the year 2025.
Budget support totaling 72.000 euros was received by 13 non-governmental organizations based in Tivat: ŠkArt, Children of Tivat, Center for Counseling and Personal Development Tivat, Association of Egyptians, Ars praesentia Boka Kotorska, NGO Boka, NGO AKC Pravi put, Adventure Club K4, Croatian umbrella community Dux croatorum, NGO Friends of Dogs, Center for Development CEZAR, KZD Napredak Gornja Lastva and NGO Dolphin Research.
The largest single sum of money was awarded to the project "Days of Croatian Culture in Montenegro" by the NGO Croatian umbrella community Dux Croatorum, which was awarded 10.816 euros. For this project, independent evaluators who evaluated all the nominated proposals were of the opinion that "through project activities, this NGO contributes to the promotion of cultural potential, initiatives and activities aimed at raising the level of urban culture for children, young people and teachers, and the affirmation of minority rights."
The least amount of money – 2.112 euros – was allocated to finance the project "VERNADOC – Methodology of Documentation of Venacular Architecture", which was submitted by the NGO KZU "Napredak" from Gornja Lastva.
A total of 22 projects from the Tivat NGO sector were nominated for the competition, which were scored by independent evaluators and previously selected by the Municipality through a public announcement.
