The Mayor of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, has made a decision to cancel music events within the "May in a Thousand Colors" bazaar, the Public Relations Office of the Royal Capital of Cetinje announced today.
The statement states that he made such a decision after extensive consultations with citizens, organizations and institutions that took place in the previous days, taking into account the different opinions that could be heard.
"Harmony and unity are our most important goal in these challenging times for Cetinje, and respecting the views of the citizens of Cetinje is my unshakable obligation," said Đurašković.
The statement states that numerous sports and cultural programs, as well as programs for children and families, will be organized in anticipation of Independence Day.
"I ask all citizens to understand the aforementioned decision and let us all show solidarity, compassion and togetherness," said Đurašković.
The Royal Capital of Cetinje, the Tourist Organization and the Cultural Center of the Royal Capital are organizing the spring bazaar "May in 1.000 Colors", from May 17th to 21st at the Royal Square in Cetinje.
