The non-governmental organization (NGO) "Green Path" organized a roundtable discussion in Plužine on the topic "The Importance of Environmental Protection of Lake Piva".

"The goal of the round table was to inform about the importance and raise awareness of the need to improve the quality of the environment in the Piva Lake area, as one of the most important resources for the development of tourism and for the overall economic development of the municipality of Plužine. The current state and improvement of the protection of Piva Lake, as a reservoir of drinking water, the improvement of the tourist and sports valorization of the lake, the current state of waste management in the lake area and the proposal of measures to improve the lake's environment in the function of the development of tourism, sports and recreational and other activities," said Dobrislav Bajović, president of the NGO "Green Path", who was the moderator of the round table.

Conclusions, recommendations and suggestions were made and sent to all relevant entities in the Municipality of Plužine for improving the environment of Lake Piva," said Bajović.

The round table was organized within the "Beer to Shine" Project, which is financed by the Municipality of Plužine from funds allocated to NGOs through a competition.
