The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation announced that, for students, the portal eservisi.edu.me A new electronic service is available for applying for exemption from student loan repayment.
For students of the University of Montenegro, all necessary data is automatically downloaded from the system and no additional documentation is required. However, students of other universities, in addition to the electronic application, must submit a certified copy of their diploma or certificate confirming the year of enrollment-completion of studies and their average grade.
The electronic service is easy to use and allows students to submit a request at any time, as well as to monitor the status of their request and receive timely information about all necessary steps to complete the procedure, the Ministry said.
They invited all students to inform themselves about the possibilities offered by the application and to use this new method of registration. They said that students, for any possible technical problems, can contact the Ministry via email info@ict.edu.me, while for other questions they can contact the Directorate for Pupil and Student Standards at 020/410-197.
They remind that the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation has several electronic services, which began to be created in 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic, including: submitting applications for enrolling children in preschool institutions; submitting applications for enrolling children in the first grade of primary school; submitting applications for enrolling children in the first grade of secondary school; submitting applications for enrolling children in the first grade of primary music school; submitting applications for electronic enrollment in the first year of study programs at the University of Montenegro; submitting applications for accommodation and meals in student and dormitories; submitting applications for student loans; submitting applications for scholarships for students and pupils; the Diary for Parents application.
"The introduction of digital services has brought numerous benefits to both parents and students, as well as to the institutions themselves, including: saving time and money (without having to go to institutions such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the Center for Social Work for certificates), reducing crowds in educational institutions and facilitating the work of admissions committees (faster processing of applications, generating a ranking list, etc.); faster and simpler change of applications for admission from one school to another or from one faculty to another; the possibility of submitting applications at any time (from 0 to 24 hours) during the competition period; faster analysis of submitted applications at all levels and in all institutions; faster analysis of submitted applications at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation," they say from that department.
In addition to the above, they add, there are two information services that are "also widely used": the school network - www.skolskamreza.edu.me and school statistics - www.skolskastatistika.edu.me.
"All information on the school network is available to the general public. On School Statistics, one set of data from the field of education is graphically displayed and available to the general public, but there is also a set of data that is available only to educational institutions," the statement reads.
