Miloš Mašković, president of the European Union Councilors' Club in the Capital City Assembly, said that it is the right of every journalist to do their job freely and without fear.
"Regardless of all the criticism I level at City Television, I believe that no journalist should be exposed to harassment, threats or insults. Any report of such behavior deserves careful and responsible action by the competent authorities. I support the right of every journalist to do their job freely and without fear for their personal safety. I expect the institutions to determine all the circumstances in the case of City RTV journalist Magdalena Čelanović as soon as possible and to take appropriate measures in accordance with the law," Mašković announced.
A doctor at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, Vladimir Peruničić, was arrested today, after journalist Čelanović reported him for harassment.
