The Women's Forum of the Civic Movement URA condemned "the case of sexual harassment to which journalist Magdalena Ćelanović was subjected."
"Sending obscene messages is unacceptable behavior that seriously threatens the dignity of women and the freedom of the media. We express full solidarity with Magdalena Ćelanović and all women facing these forms of violence. We call on the competent institutions to respond urgently and provide protection and justice for the victims," the statement reads.
They say they will continue to strongly advocate for a society in which women are respected and safe.
"We believe that only by working together can we build an environment in which every woman will be able to live and work with dignity, without fear and pressure," they conclude.
