The fishing season on Biogradsko Lake will begin on May 1, Nikola Veljić, director of the Biogradska Gora National Park (NP), told Vijesti.
The price of a daily fishing license has not changed compared to last year and will be 20 euros.
Veljić explains that "the right side of the lake will be open for fishing, as seen from the central position where the raft is located."
The state of the fish stock in Biograd Lake is, he claims, satisfactory.
However, they still urge fishermen to sometimes apply the "catch and release" rule, especially when they catch smaller fish.
The tourist season in Biogradska gora National Park began on March 21. Ticket prices remained at last year's level, namely four euros, while the annual ticket is 13,5 euros and is valid for all five national parks in Montenegro.
