Public administration is all around us. It is not just administration, it is the way of life of each individual and all of us together, announced today the Minister of Public Administration, Maraš Dukaj.
The Ministry of Public Administration (MPA) announced that Dukaj made this statement at the Faculty of Law of the Mediterranean University, where he held a lecture on public administration reforms with the aim of exchanging opinions and encouraging dialogue between decision-makers and future lawyers.
When announcing the lecture, Vice-Dean Milena Kavarić emphasized the role of law students as future guardians of justice, and the importance of understanding public administration reform for their future careers.
Dukaj expressed his belief that students are the bearers of prosperity, and that today's exchange of views and opinions on public administration is time well spent.
The MPA announced that the interest of young intellectuals is a contribution to the democratization of society and the improvement of services to citizens.
"You are not just law students, you are the bearers of future change. Your knowledge, innovations and ethical principles will shape not only public administration, but also society as a whole," said Dukaj, speaking about the goal of jointly contributing to change and ensuring a more prosperous future for young people.
The MPA statement states that key areas of reform, challenges and achievements to date were presented.
"In accordance with the competences of the Ministry of Public Administration, results were presented in the areas of legal reforms, digitalization, cybersecurity, improving employee competencies, as well as the inclusive inclusion of the NGO sector and citizens in reform processes," said the MPA.
Dukaj said that the reform plans to relieve the burden on employees, while at the same time raising standards and transparency in employment.
"It was further emphasized that public administration is open to future lawyers who want to contribute to change through their work. This was a unique opportunity for students to learn directly from public policy makers in direct dialogue," the MPA statement reads.
