The events marking Europe Day in the town below Trebjes kicked off with a volunteer green campaign for children at the Nikšić Fortress Bedem, entitled "Teach me how to garden".
The cleaning, planting and ecological lesson campaign, in which children from the Public Institution "Dragan Kovačević" participate, and which was supported by the Municipality of Nikšić, the Public Institution Museums and Galleries, the NGO Pro Futuro and the EU Delegation to Montenegro, was attended by the Ministers of European Affairs and Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue, Maida Gorčević and Naida Nišić, as well as the Director of the Public Institution Museums and Galleries Nikšić, Vesna Todorović.

The event is also the introduction to the summer music season at the fortress, which will be opened tomorrow by two Polish bands, Hosi and Almeda, and DJ Random. Before the concert, Bedem Fest, in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, will organize tomorrow the official cultural program of Poland on the occasion of its presidency of the Council of the EU.

A discussion on the valorization of European cultural heritage, which is this year's focus of the European Union, will be organized at the fortress from 12 noon, and representatives of the Adam Mickijevitz Institute and other guests, representatives of creative cities from Europe, will also participate. The aforementioned concert will start at 20 pm.
