Tourists from Australia rescued after getting lost in Lovćen National Park

Tourists from Australia were rescued last night after they were reported lost in Lovćen National Park.

"The 112 Center of the Directorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs determined their exact location with the help of GPS and immediately informed the Mountain Rescue Service and the Protection Service of the Capital of Cetinje. According to the information received by the 112 Center, the tourists from Australia had no food with them and water, nor warmer clothes. Coordinating activities with services on the ground, the search operation ended around 02:35 a.m. when the tourists were found and taken care of. The couple from Australia escaped without injuries," the Ministry of Interior announced.
