The competent inspection along the Montenegrin coast inspected 22 vessels, with irregularities found in 13 of them, Maritime Affairs Minister Filip Radulović announced today.
"With today's increased control of participants in maritime traffic, we are sending a clear message about the importance of navigation safety. The competent inspection along the Montenegrin coast inspected 22 vessels, with irregularities found in 13 of them. On this basis, misdemeanor fines in the amount of almost three thousand euros were imposed," Radulović wrote on the social network Iks.
He added that increased controls will be in place throughout the summer tourist season, all with the aim of ensuring safety at sea.
"I appeal to all participants in maritime traffic to comply with the regulations because no one will be spared in the controls. The following participated in the intensified control operation: Navigation Safety Inspectors, PSC inspectors, UPSUL, Border Police," said Radulović.
