On the occasion of Montenegro's Independence Day, May 21st, the Municipality of Šavnik and the local Tourist Organization (TO) are organizing a concert on the square on May 20th, featuring Saša Matić and Jovana Pajić.
"One of the most popular performers in the Balkans, Saša Matić, known for his numerous hits and emotional ballads, guarantees a night filled with music and strong emotions. The audience will be further warmed up by Jovana Pajić, whose performances are known for their energy and modern sound," the concert announcement states.
"We are proud that Šavnik is increasingly becoming the center of events on important national holidays. The concert on the occasion of the Independence Day of Montenegro is our contribution to the atmosphere of togetherness, optimism and the promotion of our city as a place that connects people through culture and music. We invite all citizens and visitors to join us and celebrate this important date with good energy and a celebration worthy of Independence Day," said the director of the Šavnik Tourist Board, Jelena Todorović.
As the organizers announce, the concert, which is the central event of the Independence Day celebration in Šavnik, will be an excellent opportunity for "good fun and celebration in the spirit of togetherness and pride."
"Welcome to Šavnik – the heart of Durmitor, where music and freedom resonate together," say the organizers.
