With the completion of several months of training and the ceremonial awarding of certificates and professional photo equipment, the project "Empowering Youth to Start Their Own Business" was successfully implemented, implemented by the non-governmental organization Multimedia Montenegro (MMNE), with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
The project, as reported by the NGO, brought together ten young people from Bijelo Polje and Berane, who during the program underwent intensive theoretical and practical training in the field of photography, as well as the basics of entrepreneurship. "The goal of the initiative was to provide young people with concrete tools for entering the world of creative industries and becoming independent in the labor market.
Participants who successfully completed the training and received professional photo equipment are: Andrija Kovačević, Maja Ćetković, Irijana Rizvanović, Tea Pućurica, Dalila Ljucić, Stefan Ćorac, Nevena Đukić, Kristina Sinđić, Nikolina Đurišić and Andrej Veljić.
MMNE President Željko Đukić expressed satisfaction with the achieved results.
"During several months of work, the participants have shown great enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and a willingness to take a step towards their own business. We believe that the knowledge and equipment they received will be an incentive for further training and professional development," said Đukić.
The award ceremony was also attended by the representative of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Director of the Directorate for Youth and Cooperation with NGOs, Darko Stojanović, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives for encouraging the active role of youth in the community and creating new opportunities for self-employment.
"Such programs are key to reducing youth unemployment, especially in northern municipalities. The Ministry of Sports and Youth will continue to support similar projects that offer young people concrete skills and perspectives," said Stojanović.
In addition to education, all participants received professional cameras that remain their property, enabling them to independently start working in the field of photography, either through their own business or employment in the creative sector.
The project has once again shown that the right combination of education, practical support and motivation can bring concrete results and positive changes in the lives of young people.
