In anticipation of the celebration of Montenegro's Independence Day on May 21, the Royal Capital of Cetinje will organize a series of cultural and educational events dedicated to children and young people, with the aim of affirming creativity, knowledge and sportsmanship. The program will last from May 15 to 20, the Royal Capital announced.
It will begin on May 15th, when at 10:00 AM, a workshop "Family Tree and Our Values" will be held in the 13th July Park, in cooperation with the Public Institution Center for Social Work for the Royal Capital of Cetinje. On the same day, at 19:00 PM, the promotion of the book "Memoirs (Life and Work)" by Todor Milov Borozan will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Royal Capital of Cetinje, published by the Royal Capital of Cetinje, as part of the Montenegroegzyl edition.
On Thursday, May 16th at 18:00 PM, a Football Festival will be organized at the auxiliary football stadium, which will bring together young athletes and football fans, the Royal Capital announced.
Friday, May 17th is dedicated to sports. The program begins at 11:00 AM at Dvorski trg with a panel discussion with prominent Montenegrin athletes Jovanka Radičević and Jelena Dubljević. At 13:00 PM, sports games with children will be held in Njegoš Park. Also, on May 17th and 18th, a two-day program titled “Creative Paths – A Journey Through Art and Emotions” will be held at the Ministry of Culture building.
On Saturday, May 18th, in addition to the continuation of the art program, a Children's Show will be held at 18:00 PM in the 13th July Park.
Education and Youth Day, May 19, will be marked with a rich program on the Palace Square. The program begins at 11:30 a.m. with a performance by the Children's Choir of the Royal Capital, and at 12:00 p.m. the opening of the photography exhibition by Novak Abramović entitled "Moments Painted Through the Lens - Celebrations of Independence Day 2006–2025." An interactive concert for children and parents is planned for 13:00 p.m., while an art workshop in cooperation with the "Petar Lubarda" Secondary Art School will follow at 17:00 p.m., with a special surprise for the youngest visitors, according to a statement from the Royal Capital.
On the final day of the program, May 20, at 12:00 pm, a panel discussion "The Importance of the Greats of Montenegrin Art for the Contemporary Development of Culture and Creativity" will be held at the Cultural Center, featuring speakers Andro Martinović, Maja Đurić and Nikola Radunović.
The Royal Capital of Cetinje invited all citizens, especially children, young people and their families, to participate in various events.
