The director of "Montefarm", Aleksandar Bogavac, and the assistant directors of Milica Popivoda, Jelena Popović and Marija Ćulafić, donated 17.000 euros to the "Mladost" Children's Home in Bijela, an institution that provides a home for children without parental care.
"Montefarm" announced that this is a monetary compensation that the Board of Directors of "Montefarm", in accordance with the law, collective agreements and internal acts of the Institution, awarded to the director and his assistants as recognition for a year of successful management of this important healthcare institution. Although they had the right to keep the funds, the members of the management decided to donate it in full.
"We believed that the money awarded as a reward for our work should bring even greater good – to those who need it most. The children in Bijela deserve special support and attention," said Bogavac.
Milica Popivoda, Assistant Director, Head of the Commercial Sector, said that this is not just a symbolic act...
"This is a message that values such as solidarity, empathy and responsibility towards the community must be part of all leadership behavior."
Jelena Popović, Head of the Pharmaceutical Healthcare Sector, added that pharmacy and humanity must go hand in hand. "This decision was an easy one – because we want to serve the best interests of the community."
"In times of challenge, children without parental care need the support of all of us. This donation is our way of contributing, as people and as professionals," said Marija Ćulafić, Head of the Sector for Economic, Legal and General Affairs.
The director of the home, Mirela Savić, thanked them for the large monetary donation.
"The money will be used to purchase equipment and furniture for the living space where the children will stay."
