The Municipality of Bar announced that tonight, from 22 p.m. to XNUMX a.m. the following day, traffic on JNA Boulevard will be suspended due to construction work on a sewage collector.
During the suspension, traffic will be diverted along alternative routes, as follows: Beogradska Street and Petra Vojvodića Street, when it comes to the right side of the road as viewed from the roundabout at the "Voli" market towards the overpass; and Sutormanska Street - Stare Pruge Street - Bulevar Revolucije and Jelena Anžujske Street if traffic needs require it, when it comes to the other direction.
"As a reminder, the sewage collector construction project is worth close to 200 thousand euros, and will enable significant modernization of the city's municipal infrastructure, more efficient wastewater management and environmental protection, and will also contribute to better sanitary standards for the residents of this part of the city," the statement reads.
The municipality asked citizens to understand and respect the posted traffic signs, in order to ensure the safety of all traffic participants and the smooth running of the works, and appealed to everyone to follow the instructions of authorized officials.
