The Traffic Administration announced that it has begun the implementation of works on the investment resurfacing of asphalt pavements on several roads in the Berane section.
The institution added that as part of this project, asphalt will be renovated over a total length of about 7,5 kilometers.
They state that the value of the works is around 600.000 euros, and that the contractor is the company "Tofi" doo.
"Work is currently being carried out on the regional road R-5 Rožaje - Kula - Stubica, 2 kilometers long. In the coming period, asphalt resurfacing is also planned on the Most Zeleni - Vuča sections, as well as on the Rožaje - Berane road. The investment resurfacing plan for the Berane section also includes the following road routes: Berane - Plav - Gusinje, Budimlja - Podvade - Kalače, Podvade - Petnjica, Mateševo - Andrijevica, as well as Ribarevine - Bijelo Polje - Barski most (border with Serbia). There will be no traffic disruptions during the work," the Transport Administration said in a statement.
As they said, this investment aims to increase the safety of road users, extend the lifespan of roads, and reduce their maintenance costs.
"The Traffic Directorate will continue to implement these activities in the coming period, in accordance with the Maintenance Program," the statement reads.
