The Wind Festival 2025 - an original event dedicated to the sea and the culture of life by the sea, organized by the Sailing Club "Delfin" from Tivat in cooperation with the Tourist Organization and the Municipality of Tivat, is entering its grand finale.
The last festival weekend in the coming days will be marked by culture, sports and entertainment, and will take place at three locations in Tivat.
On Friday, May 23rd, the oldest cultural institution in the city will perform at Pine - the Tivat Musical and Educational Society, which will present an all-evening concert entitled "Musica e".
Saturday is reserved for the third edition of the "Vrmac Downhill Race" cycling race, followed by a festive closing ceremony of the festival at Ponta Seljanova with a concert by Darko Rundek and the Team.
Combining tradition, youth, talent, experience and an inexhaustible love for music, the concert "Musica e" under the baton of Prof. Nevila Klakor will bring together musicians of different generations who will perform a classical and popular program with a series of musical surprises and different rhythms and genres. The stage with interesting lighting will be set up in front of the school ship "Jadran". The concert starts at 21 pm.
"As part of the sports program of the Wind Festival 2025, the off-road cycling race 'Vrmac Downhill Race 2025' aims to highlight the values and potential of the Tivat hinterland. A good team of local downhill cyclists is organizing a gathering in the beautiful surroundings of the future Vrmac Nature Park. From the settlement of Peani, gravity and muscles will take cyclists to enjoy challenging trails along which fantastic views of the landscape are offered to the race finish in the settlement of Marići," announced the organizers.
The course is of medium difficulty with dirt, rocky and grassy surfaces, and the competition is open to adults and children, with parental consent.
A reception for the most successful cyclists with an award ceremony is planned at Ponta Seljanova at 20 p.m., after which the warm-up for the concert by Darko Rundek and the Team will begin with Herceg Novi DJ BodziE, one of the most famous DJs in Montenegro, a member of Herceg Novi's Groovy Castel Nuovo crew, and VDj Shimb, a visual artist in charge of the effects on the LED screen.
Darko Rundek and the Crew opened the first edition of the 2022 Wind Festival at Pine. They were invited back to Tivat to help promote Ponte Seljanova as a top open-air stage.
