The performance of the Novi Sad band "Frajle" closed the spring edition of the Podgorica Bazaar last night, which has been gathering numerous fellow citizens and visitors at Independence Square since May 5, the capital city of Podgorica announced today.
"During the event, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a rich cultural and entertainment program intended for all generations, as well as a diverse offer in the houses that the Capital City provided completely free of charge this year," the statement said.
The Capital added that "numerous concerts have been organized, both by local performers, who traditionally have a space within the Pazar, and by regionally known performers who contributed to record attendance this year during their performances."
"In addition, essential programs for children were also implemented - children's plays, creative workshops, animators and entertainers. The interest and response of citizens this year once again showed how important such programs are for culture, but also how important they are for the affirmation of the city center as an urban space that brings together fellow citizens and tourists and offers rich content," the statement reads.
It is also stated that "The Capital City, the Secretariat for Culture and the Tourist Organization (TO) of Podgorica thank the partners, participants and visitors for their contribution to the success of the spring edition of the Podgorica Bazaar, and we are pleased to announce that in the coming period we will continue to work dedicatedly on improving the city's overall offer, because Podgorica deserves even more space for quality cultural and entertainment programs."
