The Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) will financially support the purchase of necessary equipment for the General Hospital and Health Center in Pljevlja, and will also sponsor the Breznica Football Club.
The EPCG statement states that the total value of the allocated funds is 80 thousand euros, of which 50 thousand are intended for the General Hospital, and 15 thousand euros each for the Health Center and FC "Breznica".
"This donation comes at the right time and is of exceptional importance for our work and for patients," said the director of Pljevlja General Hospital, Saša Grbović, after signing the contract.
Marko Terzić, director of the Pljevlja Health Center, said that every contribution to improving healthcare infrastructure has a direct and measurable impact on the quality of life of citizens. "We thank EPCG for its willingness to recognize and support our needs," said Terzić.
FK Breznica President Zoran Vuković, thanking them for their support, said that they can now continue developing young talents and sportsmanship in Pljevlja.
EPCG Technical Director Ljubiša Đurković highlighted the strategic importance of Pljevlja for the company. "One of our key facilities is located here and it is natural that we cultivate a strong connection with the local community accordingly," said Đurković.
The CEO of FC Proizvodnja, Miro Vračar, said that supporting health and sports is not only a moral obligation, but also an investment in the future of the environment in which they operate.
EPCG will pay the allocated funds as soon as possible, in accordance with internal procedures.
