The Francophone Theatre Encounters, the seventeenth edition of the festival dedicated to the French language and culture, will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Kolašin Cultural Center. The event is organized by the Association of French Language Teachers of Montenegro, and brings together student theater troupes that will perform various plays in French for an audience.
The audience will have the opportunity to see the performances “A tes souhaits! “– (SSVSO “Sergije Stanić”, Podgorica), “Au cinéma... ou pas” (OS “Branko Božović”, Podgorica), “Le Petit Prince et le Renard” (SSVSO “Sergije Stanić”, Podgorica), “La salle des profs: Piège de maturité” (OS “21. maj”, Podgorica)… Also “Amis pour la vie” (OS “Dr Dragiša Ivanović”, Podgorica), “Surprise” (OS “Oktoih”, Podgorica) and “Gavroche” (Centre créatif Avenir, Herceg Novi).
The festival is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Kolašin, and the event was supported by the French Institute, the Kolašin Cultural Center, the "Braća Selić" Mixed Secondary School, the Kolašin Tourist Organization and the Kolašin "Risto Manojlović" Elementary School. For 17 years, the Francophone Theatre Encounters have been providing young people with the opportunity to build bridges between cultures through artistic expression, language and cooperation. Admission to all performances is free.
