The Seismology Sector of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology registered a minor earthquake at 18.44:11 p.m., with an epicenter XNUMX kilometers north of Stolac, in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The earthquake's magnitude at the epicenter was 3,8 on the Richter scale, which corresponds to an epicentral intensity of five on the Mercalli scale.
According to preliminary processing data, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 13 kilometers.
"Based on the theoretical model of the macroseismic field of this region, the magnitude of the earthquake and the depth of the hypocenter, this earthquake could not cause material damage in the epicentral area," the announcement reads.
