"Luča" diploma for the 12 best students of the "Risto Manojlović" school in Kolašin

This year, 12 students from three final year classes at the "Risto Manojlović" Elementary School (OS) in Kolašin earned the Luča diploma. The following students received this award: Maša Medenica, Anastasija Rakočević, Marko Rakočević, Iva Peković, Ena Čepić, Irina Drašković, Sofija Bulatović, Jana Bulatović, Kristina Bulatović, Ivona Vlahović, Irina Dulović and Anđela Jeknić.

The awarding of the Luča diploma, as stated by the principal of the Elementary School Marijana Bulatović Medenica, is one of the most solemn events at the school. She said that the awarded students "completed the first stage of their education in the best possible way."

"Your knowledge, responsibility, perseverance, respectful attitude, and your behavior were crowned with the Luča diploma, the highest recognition that can be awarded to students for success in school. Nourished by the love, attention, and trust of your parents, you took your first steps at school with your teachers Mira, Nela, and Milanka... They taught you how to love knowledge and developed in you, step by step, all those traits and skills that can come to the fore in this social context - your relationship with peers, your relationship with a different type of authority, and your obligations. Your subject teachers, and especially your class teachers, who helped you cope with the challenges of growing up, continued on this path, but in a different way. You have successfully mastered those lessons as well. Now your class teachers, Milan, Nataša, and Milun, are proudly following you," said the principal.

She told the "Luca students" that they "don't need the diplomas they have earned and the expectations of adults, which you will carry throughout your life." She wished that in each of them "a light shines that will be a guide to knowledge and true life values."

"Always be aware of your worth, speak your mind as you have always done. Protect your freedom, without endangering the freedom of others. Rejoice, be surrounded by love and give love. May your heart be filled with kindness and never be ashamed of what you do not know. Learn in life and teach life," said Bulatović Medenica to the best elementary school students in Kolašin.
