Pljevljak Rade Potpara filed a criminal complaint on behalf of the tenants against the Municipality of Pljevlja and the Directorate for Development and Investments because they believe that the local administration wants, regardless of the interests of citizens, to build a hundred meters of road that would connect Omladinska Street and III Sandžačke brigade Street near the city center.

Residents living directly along the projected road route recently did not allow the investor to mark the construction site, and they also called on the municipal leadership to abandon the construction of the road because it would endanger the surrounding buildings and the residents who live there.

He recalled that at the beginning of August last year, the Municipality of Pljevlja and the contractor, the company "Ving", attempted to build the extension of Street III Sandžačke brigade without prior notice, without prior public discussion and announcement.
"In the first instance, on the private plot of the Dragaš family, where the contractor set up stakes on the private plot on cadastral plots 23/11/2 and 23-11/4, without even meeting the minimum requirements for verifying land ownership. After this attempt, the residents of the surrounding buildings created a petition signed by 69 people, with which we addressed the Municipality of Pljevlja, the Mayor, the Directorate for Construction and Investments, the Secretariat for Spatial Planning and the Secretariat for Finance with the intention of introducing us to the project, which is a public interest construction project that was initially planned in the 80s, and which in its original form does not contain residential buildings that have been built in the meantime.
