At the meeting of the Board of Directors of “Zelenilo” doo Podgorica, Nemanja Gajović was appointed acting director by unanimous decision.
The meeting, the company announced, was held yesterday.
"His appointment comes at a time when the company is intensively engaged in the implementation of numerous activities to improve the appearance and functionality of public green spaces in the capital. The goal is to create a healthier, more orderly and more beautiful living environment for all citizens of Podgorica."
After the takeover, Gajović said that Podgorica would be even greener, and that he would strive every day to make the city more organized and beautiful.
"I am a child of this city and I am entering this job with a great desire - to make Podgorica greener and more beautiful for all of us. My goal is to, in cooperation with the company's expert team, improve existing capacities and develop new projects that will contribute to a better quality of life for all citizens," said Gajović.
This Podgorica-based company says that they are continuing their activities on the arrangement and maintenance of green areas, including planting trees, maintaining lawns, parks and flower areas, as well as taking care of urban, park and children's furniture.
"The focus of the new leadership will be strengthening cooperation with citizens, through the promotion of environmental awareness and joint initiatives in the field of environmental protection and improvement," the statement said.
