The title of the student of the generation of the Secondary Mixed School (SMŠ) "Braća Selić" for the school year 2024/2025 was won by Gala Dulović. This prestigious title was awarded to her by a unanimous decision of the Teachers' Council, based on the proposal of the Department Council.
As explained, Gala was an example of diligence, responsibility, respect and consistency throughout her education. These qualities, as said by the principal of SMŠ Ana Šćepanović Golubović, “go beyond excellent grades and have made her a role model not only in the classroom, but also in everyday school life.”
This year, SMŠ "Braća Selić" awarded 10 final-year students with the Luča diploma for exceptional achievements during their primary and secondary education.
In addition to Dulović, Đorđe Vukićević and Andrej Milošević received the "Luča A" diploma for excellent performance in all subjects and exemplary behavior.
The following students earned the "Luča B" diploma: Aleksandra Drljević, Helena Šuković, Nastasja Šćepanović, Anđela Bulatović, Novo Minić, Viktorija Tatić and Tara Dulović.
"It is an honor and pleasure for me to address you today, on behalf of the school administration, and to share this special moment with you. We are here to thank and recognize those who have distinguished themselves with exceptional effort, knowledge, responsibility, and perseverance – our students who have earned the 'Luča' diploma. This diploma is not just a confirmation of your grades. It is a symbol of work and the will to rise above the average, to be consistent, dedicated, and persistent, even when it was not easy. That is what makes you special," said the principal.
According to her, the day when the Luča diploma is awarded is not only a day of celebration of success, but also of character. It is also a celebration of "youth who know how to dream, but also to work."
"We celebrate you as an example of a generation and an encouragement to others. Our dear students of Luča, we believe that this is just the beginning of your journey. Wherever life takes you, may the values you have acquired here guide you further," said Šćepanović Golubović to the best graduates.
She thanked the students' parents and their teachers, who, she said, "made a huge contribution to the school's success."
