The Municipality of Budva is introducing a new traffic regime in the contact zone of the Old Town and the promenade starting tomorrow in order to improve the tourist season.

"In order to improve the quality of tourists' stay and preserve the ambient peace and safety of pedestrians in the Old Town area and along the promenade, the Municipality of Budva is introducing changes to the traffic regime that will be implemented in two phases," the Municipality of Budva told Vijesti.

The first phase, as they emphasize, will come into effect on June 15th and includes the following measures:

"Strict control of the entry of vehicles for supply purposes, which will be allowed only until 11 am. A ban on the movement of all motor vehicles after 19 pm in the contact zone of the Old Town and along the promenade. Increased control and sanctioning of illegal parking at all locations along the promenade, as well as in the stretch from the old fire station to the Port Authority building," the local administration points out.

The Municipality of Budva calls on citizens, businessmen and tourists for understanding and cooperation, with the belief that these measures will contribute to creating a more pleasant environment for all visitors, increasing safety and preserving the attractiveness of the most frequented city areas during the summer tourist season," the Municipality of Budva concluded.
