Two teams from the Bijelo Polje Protection and Rescue Service, after extinguishing the fire during the day, are participating tonight in extinguishing the coniferous forest fire at the Fuštića ograda location, near the village of Barice, on the border with Mojkovac territory, said the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service, Edin Kolić.
"The fire was extinguished today, but it is still active, and extinguishing it is difficult due to the inaccessibility of the terrain," said Kolić.
Members of the Protection and Rescue Service, as Kolić pointed out, intervened in several locations over the weekend, from extinguishing fires, catching snakes to rescuing a dog from a manhole.
"We rescued a dog from a manhole on Radomir Medojevića Street, caught snakes in four locations in residential buildings and a car. We intervened in extinguishing forest fires and low vegetation also in four locations, Malo polje, Prijelozi and Rakonje and Vidojevine," said Kolić.
