The "Be Human" Foundation has launched an appeal for help for eight-year-old Maša Baošić, who has been battling cerebral palsy since birth. More than 32.000 euros are needed for her rehabilitation.
"After birth, she was immediately placed in an incubator where she spent 24 days, and on the second day after birth, she underwent surgery due to aspiration pneumonia and suspected esophageal atresia, which further complicated her development. After being transferred to neonatology, Maša lost oxygen, which led to severe brain damage, after which she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Thanks to people with big hearts, Maša received treatment several times through the 'Be Human' Foundation, after which her condition improved significantly and positive results were observed," the statement reads.
Doctors recommend that Masha continue intensive rehabilitation treatments at the Memorial Clinic in Istanbul.
"Unfortunately, the family is unable to cover the costs of these treatments themselves, which is why they are turning to all humane people for help. In order for Maša to have a chance to improve the quality of her life and make progress with adequate rehabilitation, it is necessary to raise 32.099 euros," the foundation says.
