"Due to a breakdown in the water supply network, users in the Old Town, parts of the Gospoština settlement, as well as nearby catering and tourist facilities, were left without regular water supply in the early morning hours today. The reason is a breakdown along a water pipe of an older production date. The damage was detected in two places," the Budva Waterworks told "Vijesti".
For the above reasons, as they emphasized, two repair teams were hired, so that the areas where the faults occurred could be repaired as quickly and as early as possible.
"Maximum efforts are being made to carry out the repairs as urgently as possible. According to the latest information, during the field activities, certain complications occurred, which will most likely extend the announced end time of the repair /15 pm today/ by another two hours. In order to make it easier to overcome the interruption in the water supply, the Protection and Rescue Service vehicle has been parked in a visible place. We ask for users' understanding," the Budva Water Supply and Sewerage Company said.
The company told Vijesti that normalization of water supply is expected around midnight.
