Principals of Podgorica's high schools are satisfied with how the first day of enrollment of future students went, and traditionally, the greatest interest is recorded by the "Mirko Vešović" High School of Economics, the "Slobodan Škerović" High School, and the Secondary Vocational Medical School.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) has announced a competition for enrollment in the first grade of secondary schools, and applications began yesterday and will last until June 19.
The education department said that 10.564 places in high schools, vocational and art schools have been offered to more than seven thousand elementary school graduates.
Director of the Secondary School of Economics "Mirko Vešović" Diana Vujacic She told "Vijesti" that she was very happy with the first day of enrollment.
"Everything is going great. About 300 students applied on the first day and we are very pleased. We applied for 336 positions in the competition. Legal and administrative technician is the most sought-after. I expect there will be even greater interest," said Vujačić.
Acting Director of the “Slobodan Škerović” High School Zoran Pejović He stated that yesterday, after the first cut-off, more than 270 future high school students applied.
"The most applicants were in the general direction, 156, and the least in the mathematics direction - only nine. The bilingual direction has 58 applicants, the sports direction has 31, and the philological direction has 17," said Pejović.
The director of the Secondary Vocational Medical School confirmed that the first day of enrollment in secondary schools went more than well. Kristina Radoman.
"We are pleased with how the first day of registration went. So far, 225 students have registered," she replied.
Miomir Đurišić, director of the School for Secondary and Higher Vocational Education (ŠSVSO) "Sergije Stanić", said that "there is the greatest interest in hotel and tourism technicians."

As previously pointed out by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the points threshold for enrollment remains the same: 60 points for grammar schools, and 48 for four-year vocational schools.
"Students who are not older than 17 years of age have the right to apply, and applications are submitted electronically via the website www.upisi.edu.me," the Ministry of Education and Science announced.
