Jovan Janković, a student at the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium in Podgorica, won a bronze medal at the 9th European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO), a competition for high school students, which was held from June 13 to 17 in Sofia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) announced today.

As stated in the announcement, 28 European and twelve guest countries participated in this prestigious competition.
"Our team was also represented by students: Vuk Čurović, Andreja Popović and Anastasija Belada, all from the 'Slobodan Škerović' Gymnasium in Podgorica," the statement said.
The team was led by Predrag Miranović, from the Faculty of Science, University of Montenegro.
"Our team participated in this competition for the first time, and the organizers and sponsors of the trip are the Examination Center and the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation. Congratulations to Jovan and his mentor, as well as the entire team from Montenegro!", concludes the statement from the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation.
