The President of the Municipality of Tivat, Željko Komnenović, attended the celebration of the City of Konjic Day at the invitation of the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, and the President of the City Council, Kenan Greda.
During the ceremonial Academy "Kindness is the Goal of Life", held in memory of those killed in the floods in the Neretva Valley in October last year, but also as a sign of gratitude to all who provided help and support to the citizens of Konjic, he received a certificate of appreciation.

He was presented with a certificate of appreciation by Mayor Osman Ćatić. The academy at the Konjic Sports Center was preceded by a ceremonial session of the City Council, as well as the laying of wreaths to those who died in World War II and the war that engulfed this area in the 1990s.

The celebration in Konjic was attended by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić.
"The Mayor of Tivat had the opportunity to tour recent city investments, as well as Tito's bunker, once a nuclear war command under the slopes of Zlatar, now adapted into a museum and gallery space. The delegation from Tivat was hosted by the Chief of the Konjic Police Department, Mustafa Gakić," Komnenović's office announced yesterday.

The ceremonial Academy was also attended by a representative of the DVD "Boka", who, on behalf of this volunteer fire department from Tivat, received a letter of appreciation from the City of Konjic.
The City of Konjic celebrates its day on June 16th, commemorating 643 years since the first written mention of Konjic. The Municipality of Tivat and the City of Konjic have been in sisterly relations for decades, and they have significant cooperation in the field of culture.
