We reiterate our demand that the illegal General Director of Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) Boris Raonić be relieved of his duties, and that the systematization be carried out by professionals and serious managers, the Trade Union of the Public Broadcasting Service RTCG announced today.
"We welcome the harsh tone in the latest statement of the Employees' Union. Your insistence that you, as a representative union, be the exclusive negotiator is now naive. The director has firmly decided to avoid you independently. He is evading the right that belongs to you by sending an invitation for all unions to join the negotiations in order to delay. His invitation means to everyone that he will not respect the law. Nothing new from him. Verbal persuasion with him 'does not hold water'. You must fight for legality. In the institutions," the statement of the Union of the Public Broadcasting Service RTCG emphasizes.

The Trade Union of the Public Broadcasting Service RTCG added that the management continues to deceive.
"You admit it by the way, but you are not taking the path that stops them. What do you expect from management led by an illegal CEO who, as the strongest argument for resolving previous disagreements and failures, is requesting the engagement of an independent lie detector? Along the way, he announced some details that require clarification, names (the polygraph will not say them, but he will), about how he treated negotiators in previous negotiations, and they sent 'proposals for reducing coefficients to colleagues from another union'. What gives the impression that workers receive their salaries according to their membership in associations? He is talking nonsense. Just to cause discord," said the Union of the Public Broadcasting Service RTCG.
They said that if union activity is synonymous with unity and solidarity, Raonić certainly does not think so.
"But he always finishes his work in the background, in whispers and Viber messages, sending people threats or promises 'from the sponda', through intermediaries, as he recently abused the still-acting president of your union to abolish the representativeness of ours. And those who intercepted colleagues in the hallways, parking lots and parks are known. Maybe the president of the union could be a protected witness on the topic of how it is done, reducing the coefficients of colleagues in another union? 'Interceptors' too?", the union of the Public Broadcasting Service RTCG writes in a statement.
The union said that despite the undeniable representativeness of the RTCG Employees' Union, "The Council and management did not consult you on the latest change in systematization, and that 'stupid' document served the illegal to strengthen its own ranks by increasing the number of editors in the general's office."
"A strange solution, which the program directors are not yet opposed to. They are obviously not doing their job. Because of all this, we repeat the request that the illegal general managers be dismissed from their duties, and that the systematization be done by professionals and serious managers. We invite you to think like this. Everything else will be a rotten compromise in which there is no room for the public interest and dignity of media workers.
