In order to strengthen the role of youth in decision-making processes and encourage further development of youth policy, the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, is establishing the Council of Youth Initiatives, as an expert and advisory body.
As announced by the Office of the President of the State, in order to form the composition of the Council, the Office of the President of Montenegro has published a Public Call for the selection of members of the Council of Youth Initiatives of the President of Montenegro.
"By establishing the Council of Youth Initiatives, the President of Montenegro wants to strengthen the voice of young people and contribute to shaping public policies that meet their needs, interests and aspirations. By forming the Council, the President of Montenegro will open an institutional space through which young people directly participate in creating policies that affect their future - in the areas of European integration, education, employment, health, culture, human rights, and other relevant areas," the statement reads.
They invited young people who want to contribute their knowledge, experience and ideas to the work of the Council to apply and become part of the initiative aimed at building a more active, fairer and more inclusive society for all young people in Montenegro.
"We encourage applications from young people from all over Montenegro, with different educational profiles and interests," it was announced.
