A fire broke out in a Municipal Police vehicle parked on III Sandžak Brigade Street, at the entrance to the construction site on Omladinska Street, last night, one hour after midnight, and the investigation will determine how the fire started.
This was confirmed to Vijesti by the local administration in Pljevlja.
The Hyundai vehicle, along with two other municipal vehicles, was parked at the entrance to the construction site, after the contractor, engaged in the reconstruction of the youth street, recently withdrew the machines and moved them to other construction sites.
For more than a month, residents of Omladinska Street in Pljevlja have not allowed workers from the Ving company to begin work on the new road route and are asking the municipality to abandon the construction of the road because it would endanger the surrounding buildings and the residents who live in them.
In recent days, residents have also been dumping trash on Municipal Police vehicles parked not far from their building, since, as they say, the underground container is full, and Čistoća workers cannot empty it because of the parked vehicles.
