We are used to the fact that when Democratic Montenegro finds itself out of power, what we are all used to immediately starts happening – a hysterical statement, full of self-pity, empty phrases, and theatrical moralizing.
The latest "dramatic" advertising by the Democrats regarding the appointment of the director of DOO "Komunalno Budva" deserves nothing more than a reminder, according to the reaction of the political group "Budva our city - Nikola Jovanović".
"A reminder that the Democrats were the pioneers in accommodating DPS cadres, only when it suited them. That they shamelessly rehabilitated them deep within the system while shouting about 'democratic changes'. And if we're talking about security, responsibility and trust, then we can't help but mention their high-ranking official Dragana Kazanegra Stanišić, secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who did not pass the ANB security check and therefore does not have access to secret state data. Who is the threat to the institutions here - someone trying to contribute to the work of a local company or someone sitting at the top of the Ministry of Internal Affairs without permission to open their own email?", the reaction states, adding:
"The Democrats left chaos, disorder and companies on the brink of collapse in Budva. Now that someone is trying to bring order, panic is brewing. And not just ordinary panic, but moral panic from the Democrats, who are behaving as if someone had attacked them based on their merits, not the consequences of their own actions. Let's be clear: DPS gave project support to the current government in which we promised professionalization, regardless of political affiliation. You are a political relic of an experiment that collapsed under the weight because with you everything comes down to function and office. And finally - as for the famous 'discoveries' about the Municipal Enterprise, we urge you: if you know about the crime - go to the prosecutor's office. If you don't know - stop harassing citizens with nonsense. This is not a political soap opera, but real life and it's time to understand that. Unlike you, we will continue to work - not for the party headquarters, but for Budva," concludes the reaction "Budva Our City".
