Nikolaj Zejak, Aleksandra Obradović and Dario Stojimenov are the best participants of the Summer Military Camp for Youth.

The end of this year's Summer Military Youth Camp was officially marked today on the training ship "Jadran", which was implemented by the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Montenegro with the aim of bringing the military vocation closer to young people and providing a unique experience through military content and activities.

The camp lasted two weeks, during which high school students from Montenegro and North Macedonia had the opportunity to gain military experience and feel the spirit of community through life in the barracks, learning machine shops, topography, training in survival in nature, as well as through rafting, mountaineering, cruising the Adriatic and a number of other activities, the Ministry of Defense announced.

At the closing ceremony, diplomas and awards were presented to the participants by the Chief of the Human Resources Department of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Frigate Captain Goran Pajović, who emphasized that the Camp is a reminder that the strength of the individual comes through the synergy of the collective.

"The army is not just an institution, but a community of people ready to be there for each other. Perhaps, for some of you, this will be the first step towards a professional path in the defense system of our country," he said.

Pajović said that the lessons of the Summer Military Camp go beyond military training, that they bring self-confidence and a willingness to contribute to the community, trust the person next to you, and overcome obstacles together.

"You are the best indicator that when young people are given an opportunity - that they know how to take advantage of it, so I encourage you to continue to seek challenges, not to be afraid of difficult paths, because they are precisely what lead to progress," said Pejović.
